Wadi Laban Bridge Monitoring Upgrade

Cementys engineers successfully installed a unique monitoring system combining GNSS/Insar technologies with optical fiber sensors in Wadi Leban Bridge in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Wadi Leban Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge located in south-west Riyadh. It connects Riyadh to its south suburb, such that heavy traffic is crossing the bridge. Continuous Structural Health Monitoring with seasonal and traffic effects will help the KSA Ministry of Transport maintain the bridge over the next decades in a more effective manner.
